Teresa Giudice‘s post-prison family reunion was not a cozy private family affair — and you’ll probably get to see it on TV soon.
Giudice was released from prison in the early morning hours of Dec. 23, just in time to spend Christmas with her family. But her homecoming was far from sheltered. In fact, Giudice is so eager to step back into the limelight that cameras were rolling as she was driven back to her family home.
Us Weekly confirmed that Bravo cameras joined Giudice on the ride from the Danbury, Connecticut, prison — but what is unclear is if the footage will be used for an upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, or for a standalone special.
People magazine also joined the festivities and snapped an exclusive pic of Giudice’s welcome home present: a shiny black 2016 Lexus LX 570 worth approximately $95,000.

Seems a bit suspect considering that Teresa and her husband Joe owe approximately $400,000 in restitution from the bank fraud and tax evasion case. Radar Online posted and then deleted a story stating that Giudice’s lawyer James Leonard Jr. bought her the car, with the intent to be “paid back later” (via Jezebel).
It is also possible that People bought her the pricey SUV in exchange for the exclusive rights to her homecoming photos, or Bravo gave it to her to make her homecoming even more dramatic.
But when asked where the car came from, Leonard told Entertainment Tonight, “They make money.” He later told reporters at a press conference, “Maybe Santa Claus.”
Giudice did need a new ride. She was forced to give up her Maserati by the courts to help satisfy the court judgement against her.
