Brandi Glanville might not be on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills any longer, but that doesn’t means she’s staying clear of drama. Recently, Glanville outraged her “fans” when she posted Christmas photos to her Facebook page. Or as she put it, “XXXMas” photos. Oh, Brandi!
Like many celebrities, reality stars, etc., Glanville took to Facebook last week to spread a little holiday cheer. Only in her case — and in true Glanville fashion — she peppered her photos with swear words. And people weren’t amused.

If you feel so inclined to take a leisurely stroll down Comments Lane on Glanville’s Facebook page regarding this post, you’ll see that people didn’t think this was cute. If you don’t, here’s a sampling of what some people had to say:

Ouch! While it’s possible that Glanville brings on some of the controversy and drama herself (how does she think people are going to react to swear-laden posts about Christmas?), it’s hard to understand why these people feel the need to follow Glanville if they dislike her so much. If you don’t like Glanville’s mouth — which, let’s face it, is and always has been dirty — don’t friend her on Facebook, follow her on Twitter, or generally be associated with her. There’s a pretty good chance you’re going to hear foul and inappropriate language if you’re reading something from Glanville (as anyone who’s ever seen five minutes of her in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can attest).

Now, while I certainly don’t claim to be president of the Brandi Glanville Fan Club, as I too think she takes things too far sometimes, one area I don’t think it’s cool for her to be criticized is her parenting. Everyone is fighting a hard battle and no one really knows exactly what goes on between Glanville and her kids, as she doesn’t make too much of it public.
In addition to some of the totally below-the-belt potshots Glanville received about her parenting from her Facebook posts, she’s also clearly been criticized about her parenting in other ways, as she recently went on a rant (on Facebook again), defending her position as a single mom.

Glanville didn’t elaborate in terms of where the rant came from, but clearly she’s pissed. Also, clearly… isn’t she a single parent? She may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re not married and you don’t have a partner, you’re a single parent, right? It’s sad that she even has to defend herself in regards to that. Again, you may not like her, but there’s no denying that she’s a single mom — and that’s hard.
If history is anything to go by, it doesn’t seem like Glanville is going to change herself at all to suit other people. She’s going to continue to curse, say inappropriate things, and do things that get under people’s skin. If you’re cool with that, by all means continue to follow her. But if you’re not, seriously, why not just log off? Glanville won’t mind.
