Sister Wives‘ Kody Brown reportedly bullying his wives

Kody Brown has been bullying three of his four wives so badly that they are about to leave him.

Kody, the patriarch of the controversial polygamist reality-TV family, has apparently turned against his first three wives in favor of younger, thinner fourth wife Robyn, and has become emotionally abusive to Meri, Christine and Janelle.

“It’s just not the loving polygamist marriage people see on TV,” a Brown insider told In Touch (via Radar Online).

“This family has been torn apart,” claimed the source, adding, “Meri will certainly walk away.”

What is happening? Trouble in paradise surfaced when it was revealed Meri was having an online affair that turned out to be a sad case of catfishing. But what drove her to such lengths in the first place? The insider says Kody’s bad attitude towards the three women is to blame.

“Kody fat-shames [Christine] and has no problem saying he was repulsed by her when they first met,” the source said, adding that Janelle is also miserable and has left Kody in the past, only to return.

“They weren’t in love when they met and got married,” said the source.

That last little tidbit is super interesting, considering the family history between Kody, Janelle and Meri: Janelle was married to Meri’s brother when she met Kody at a family function in 1989.

Adding to the stress of the marriages is Kody’s focus on Robyn and their expanding brood of babies, Meri’s catfishing scandal and Christine’s growing discontent with feeling like she’s been forgotten.

“I have a lot of expectations and not a lot of appreciation, to be honest,” Christine said during Season 6. “I don’t know if I care if it’s perfect anymore or if it’s what he wants anymore. It’s just so much work.”

If Kody isn’t careful, he could be down to just one wife soon.
