Lamar Odom has a belated Christmas present for fans: the first photo of the basketball star since his near-fatal overdose.

Odom, who is still hospitalized in a Los Angeles hospital, received a holiday visit from his two children with ex-partner Liza Morales, and his son Lamar Jr. posted a happy, sweet snap of the family joking around.

“Christmas with my pops. Here’s to 2016. Blessed,” Lamar Jr. captioned the picture, posted on his private Instagram account.

Meanwhile, Lamar’s sorta-ex, sorta-still wife Khloe Kardashian is reportedly taking steps to finally resolve their relationship, because she feels her own life has been on hold for too long.

“It’s a delicate situation, because Lamar’s so sensitive and there’s no easy way for Khloe to tell him she’s not coming back [as his wife],” an insider told Radar Online.

“She’s finding the whole strain of running his finances and medical planning way too much to bear, since so much of her own life has had to go on hold.”

Kardashian and Odom had finally signed divorce papers last summer, but she asked the court to vacate the request for finalization after he was found in a coma at a Las Vegas brothel in October. So why the change of heart, just months into Odom’s precarious recovery? One person is moving her heart forward: her currently boyfriend, James Harden.

“He has been a saint, but he’s getting extremely frustrated at still playing second fiddle to Lamar,” the source explained. “That’s why Khloe’s had to start the withdrawal process — she’s terrified of driving James any further away.”

There doesn’t seem to be too much to worry about in that department as the couple was spotted smooching in a Houston, Texas, club on New Year’s Eve.
