RHONY‘s LuAnn de Lesseps spotted shopping for an engagement ring

RHONY‘s Countess LuAnn de Lesseps may be getting engaged soon.

Forget the Count, Jacques and that French Johnny Depp look-alike. Countess LuAnn de Lesseps has a new boyfriend and it’s getting serious quickly. She may be adding Mrs. to her name sooner rather than later.

People is reporting that LuAnn de Lesseps will likely be getting engaged to boyfriend Thomas D’Agostino Jr. soon.

The pair spent a romantic holiday getaway together, ringing in the new year in Palm Beach, Florida.

De Lesseps tweeted a photo with D’Agostino, writing, “First time playing golf with Tom! #PalmBeach #Breakers #love.”

They had a whirlwind weekend attending several parties and were seen shopping for an engagement ring at Graff Diamonds.

D’Agostino is the CEO of print and promotional distributor Smart Source LLC. He was rumored to be dating RHONY‘s Ramona Singer earlier in the fall, but People’s source says that D’Agostino only had eyes for de Lesseps.

They’ve only been dating for a short time and have been seen out in New York City and Sag Harbor. Friends assure People that de Lesseps is completely “over the moon and so happy,” and a big “announcement” is imminent.

Well, this would certainly make The Real Housewives of New York City annual trip to somewhere tropical less interesting. Single de Lesseps always seems to bring guys home and the drama, too. It’s a good thing we can always count on Sonja Morgan for sexual hijinks.

When de Lesseps gets married, will she lose her Countess title? That could mess with her brand. At the very least, her new last name will still start with a “D,” so she won’t need to get new monogrammed towels on her wedding registry.
