Teresa Giudice is taking skills she learned in prison to pursue a new venture

No one wants to go to prison, but it some cases, there can be a silver lining to your time behind bars as you home in on your skills and reflect on various aspects of your life.

And this may be the case for The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice, because, according to a new report, she’s going to put the skills she learned in prison to good use when she’s a free woman.

What exactly is she planning on doing, you ask?

A source told In Touch Weekly that Giudice is hoping to open a restaurant once her house arrest is over.

“It will keep her busy while Joe [her husband, who’s due to begin his 41-month prison sentence in March] is away,” a source told the publication. “She learned about running a big kitchen while in prison and thinks she could incorporate that into her story line for the show.”

She also wants her time behind bars to positively influence her outlook on life.

“Teresa is determined to make something positive out of her experience,” the source said, revealing that she is looking at various locations around New Jersey for a potential restaurant spot.
