Jon Hamm might be taking his Mad Men romance offscreen

Mad Men castmates Jon Hamm and January Jones are rumored to be dating.

Mad Men may be over, but a new possible romance could make fans have flashbacks of early seasons: Don and Betty Draper may be together in real life! I mean, Jon Hamm and January Jones.

In Touch via Wetpaint reports that during the seven seasons of Mad Men, Jon Hamm and January Jones “always flirted with each other on set, but never went there because Jon was with Jennifer [Westfeldt].”

More:Jon Hamm and January Jones are no Don and Betty

In 2015, Hamm broke up with Westfeldt, his girlfriend of 18 years. The source says that Hamm and Jones “decided to turn their friendship into something more” and that the couple has been “spending time together at January’s home in LA… so they don’t have to worry about paparazzi getting shots of them together.”

The insider says they have “crazy chemistry” and are tired of hiding their relationship. Hamm likes spending time with Jones’ 4-year-old son, Xander, who “adores” Hamm.

Us Weekly reported in September 2015 that Hamm and Westfeldt split “because he wanted kids and she didn’t.” Jones gets a check in the children department.

According to Gossip Cop, a rep for Hamm said that rumors about a romantic relationship with Jones are “not true.”

If Hamm and Jones are dating, I hope they’re better to each other than Don and Betty Draper. While I loved Mad Men, the Drapers looked better together than they were as a couple. Of course, that made for great drama. As a fan of the show, I’d love to see Hamm and Jones together in real life to show us how great Don and Betty could have been.

Besides, who wouldn’t want to see them together on the red carpet holding hands and canoodling while running errands? If they had a baby, it would be the best-looking child ever.

I’m rooting for the Drapers! I mean, Hamm and Jones.
