Scott Disick makes big move to be near his kids

Scott Disick buys a $6 million home near the Kardashians in hopes of staying sober.

The Lord has a new manor!

Scott Disick just purchased a new home and, surprisingly, it’s located in Kardashian central Hidden Hills.

Based on Disick’s partying past, you’d expect him to buy a bachelor pad closer to Los Angeles, but that’s specifically why he bought a home close to the Kardashians. According to TMZ, he’s hoping the clan will help him stay sober.

Hidden Hills is a suburban, upscale neighborhood that’s more family-oriented than party central. Plus, he’s within miles of Kourtney’s home as well as Kim and Kris. Hopefully, being close will help keep him from temptation. Although, he may want to reconsider hosting events at bars like he did on New Year’s Eve.

Disick purchased the house at the end of December for $5.96 million. It’s 8,000 square feet and has seven bedrooms. The house has two stories. The first floor has an open floor plan. It’s bright white with a modern kitchen and a herringbone gray-washed wood floor. On the second floor, there is a large master bathroom with a beautiful egg-shaped tub. There are killer views from the bedroom. It also has a pool and a wine cellar.

I’m happy Disick has the sense to stay close to his children. He needs to do what he needs to do to stay sober, but relying on his ex-girlfriend’s family is a little weird. It makes it hard for everyone to move on.

I think I’m most shocked that Disick can afford a $6 million home. The Kardashians are obviously very business-savvy, but Disick didn’t seem to have much going on except for the show and impregnating Kourtney. Maybe that was enough.

The house is beautiful! Enjoy it, Scott, and maybe use that beautiful, modern wine cellar for juices and water bottles.
