Eva Longoria, America Ferrera slyly address racial mix-ups at Golden Globes

America Ferrera and Eva Longoria just turned the tables on the Golden Globes, proving to everyone these ladies not only have a great sense of social justice, but a killer sense of humor as well.

Remember when the Golden Globes tweeted that Gina Rodriguez was announcing the 2016 nominees, only to have to apologize all over themselves because it was really America Ferrera up there onstage? Yeah, it was super uncomfortable and unfortunate, and it happened twice before they caught their mistake.

Well, Ferrera remembered, and she and co-presenter Eva Longoria decided to make sure we got the message that all Latinas are not interchangeable with a super funny skit that had audience members suggesting maybe the new queens of Monday-night comedy should host the Golden Globes next year.

Longoria: “Hi I’m Eva Longoria, not Eva Mendes.”

Ferrera: “And hi, I’m America Ferrera, not Gina Rodriguez.”

Longoria: “And neither of us are Rosaria Dawson.”

Ferrera: “Nope, well said Salma.”

Longoria: “Thank you, Charo.”

Talk about making a point in style (plus the ladies looked incredible!). We’ve got to admit, the two have chemistry!

So here’s hoping the Hollywood Foreign Press was listening, because we agree that these two ladies would be an excellent co-host team!
