RHONJ‘s Teresa Giudice & Jacqueline Laurita finally end long-standing feud

Now that Teresa Giudice is home from prison, is she turning over a new leaf?

Us Weekly reports that Giudice has made amends with her longtime frenemy Jacqueline Laurita, a fellow co-star on Bravo‘s The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Of course, the reunion was caught on film for the upcoming season of the reality show.

According to the mag’s source, “Teresa reached out to Jacqueline, but Jacqueline didn’t think it was genuine. Then they all taped a scene together, hashed everything out and made up.”

It would be easy to dismiss the move as a ploy for plotlines, but the source says Giudice wasn’t game for a friendly chat with Laurita this time last year. Previously, “Andy [Cohen] had asked Teresa if she wanted a friendship with Jacqueline. Teresa said no.” So what changed?

Giudice has been out of prison since Dec. 23 and is on house arrest through February, with her husband Joe to begin serving his own 41-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix, New Jersey, starting in March. Giudice seems to be keeping busy with family, friends and, yes, at-home workouts.

While a seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has yet to be officially confirmed from Bravo, sources report that Bravo cameras have been taping everything from New Year’s Eve parties to the very Housewives-esque friends makeup sessions. With Giudice under house arrest, it’s no surprise that producers are bringing the drama to her.
