TheReal Housewives of New Jersey star finished her sentence for tax crimes nearly a month ago, but she still has strict rules to follow under her probation requirements. And according to recent reports, she’s already come close to violating her probation, a move that could land her back behind bars.
According to The Inquisitr, Giudice and her daughter, Gia, attended a red carpet event to celebrate the opening of fellow housewife Melissa Gorga’s new boutique in Montclair, New Jersey.
One of the stipulations of Giudice’s probation is that she has a 10 p.m. curfew, and reports say she left the party late enough to be cutting it close. As she and Gia hopped in an Uber car, they reportedly told the driver to hurry so Giudice would be home on time… and then got stopped by police for speeding.

TMZ reported that Giudice took full blame for the incident, telling officers from the backseat of the car that she had asked the driver to speed and explaining that it was because of the conditions of her probation. Sources told TMZ that the officer in charge actually recognized Giudice and, knowing about her past, chose to let her off with just a warning. The warning allowed Giudice to make it home before her 10 p.m. curfew, the site reports.
Giudice just finished her 11-month sentence at a Danbury, Connecticut, women’s prison and was released early on Dec. 23. She and her husband, Joe Giudice, both pleaded guilty to a number of fraud and tax charges in 2014. Joe Giudice is set to begin his own prison sentence soon.
