Though the Teen Mom has been at the center of a lot of legal trouble over the past few years, she says it was no big deal when the police showed up at her home this week — and they weren’t there because of her.

Evans, who has been arrested 13 times in the last five years, cleared the air on Twitter about the fight that apparently took place between her boyfriend and her mom, prompting the police to pay a visit to the house.

Kaiser was never taken from my house,” Evans tweeted, referring to her 18-month-old son. “I was in the bathroom doing my makeup to go to lunch with my mom. Kaiser was in David’s arms and she kept yelling so he asked her to leave and she didn’t… Simple.”

According to Us Weekly, it was Evans’ boyfriend, David Eason, who called the police. That set off the rumor mill, leading online speculators to claim that Evans’ mom, Barbara Evans, left the house with not only Evans’ 6-year-old son Jace, of whom Barbara has custody, but Kaiser as well. Evans said on Twitter that that was not the case.

“That was my nephew and Jace she took… Not Kaiser,” she explained.

Evans also said no charges were filed as a result of the incident. Despite her rocky past relationship with her mother, Evans has said recently that she’s committed to repairing her family and reclaiming custody of Jace.
