Kim Zolciak‘s latest throwback picture is a shining example of how much someone can change in a little over a decade.
The sweet photo dates back 12 years and shows Zolciak lying on the beach with her two oldest children, Brielle and Ariana Biermann. Brielle and Ariana look adorable with little white bows in their hair, while Zolciak was donning a much more natural makeup and hair look than what she prefers now.

The photo doesn’t only illustrate how much Zolciak, Brielle and Ariana have changed physically, but the caption of the photo and accompanying hashtags also indicate just how much their lives have changed since 2004.
“12 years ago!! I showed this pic to Kroy and he asked me if I shot it at Walmart!” Zolciak wrote. “This was Destin Fl, one of the most beautiful beaches #ItWasJustMeAndMyGirls #TheyAreWereMyStrength #SingleMama #DreamsDoComeTrue #KeepBelieving.”
It’s kind of crazy to think that 12 years ago Zolciak was a non-reality star and single mom to two children. Fast-forward to 2016 and she’s Bravo’s pride and joy, married to NFL player Kroy Biermann and mother to six. Dang, she’s been busy!
The response to Zolciak’s throwback photo, for once, has been resoundingly positive.
“Hi Kim! I’m Brielle’s age and my parents recently got divorced. Your daughter’s (sic) are so lucky to have such a caring mother like you. I love watching your show. You guys are a great family. Keep working hard!” one young fan wrote in the comments section, while another added, “You are an inspiration to all the single mommy’s. This picture reminds me so much of my two little girls and I!! You have a beautiful family and I enjoy your post (sic)!!!”
The praise is a refreshing change from the usual harsh bashing Zolciak faces when she posts a photo of herself, past or present.
