You remember Danielle Staub. She drove Teresa Giudice to flip a table on the glorious Season 1 finale of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Staub spent two seasons on RHONJ; she left at the end of Season 2 and then proceeded to get engaged — this is allegedly her twentieth engagement — become a stripper, reneg on the stripper thing and compete on a reality show. Now Staub is back with another book — her first, an autobiography called The Naked Truth, was published in 2010.
Staub tweeted about her forthcoming work on Jan. 28 and her fans are already eager to read it.

What could Staub hope to expose in her new book? Teresa Giudice going to jail and Joe heading there are two of the biggest scandals that could have emerged on the show, and Bravo even documented that by showing Joe dealing with being a single father while Teresa was away. Caroline got her own show about her family and the cast of RHONJ is definitely not lacking in drama. In other words, unless Staub’s book contains a map directing its readers to where actual bodies are buried, will anyone actually care?
The two seasons Staub spent on RHONJ were basically perfect television. I mean, what else can be said about a season that ended with Teresa turning over a table while screaming about Staub being engaged 19 times? Those seasons were full of gossip, people turning against each other, friendships being tested and lots of eating. Staub was a big part of the reason RHONJ is a success, so even if her second book is another attempt to remain relevant, who can blame her?
