Palin took to her blog on Tuesday to share her thoughts on the 88th Academy Awards.

In a post called, “Rappers Agree with Stacey Dash,” Palin used an example from Ice Cube and rapper Waka Flocka Flame to explain how Fox News personality Dash has support in unexpected places before sharing her own views.

“We shouldn’t segregate ourselves or limit Black History Month to one month a year. I wish things were really colorblind…,” Palin wrote. “I don’t know what we can do as a society to come together as one.”

Palin went on to say that Jada Pinkett Smith seemingly started the Oscars boycott because her husband, Will Smith, was not nominated. She wrote, “Ss [sic] far as what I have seen about the #OscarSoWhiteControversy, it seems Jada Smith [sic] started it because her husband wasn’t getting nominated.

“I don’t know how other people think about it, but I hope my son sees early on – that not everyone gets a trophy.”

Pinkett Smith previously explained her reasoning behind boycotting the Oscars as she tweeted, “At the Oscars…people of color are always welcomed to give out awards… even entertain. But we are rarely recognized for our artistic accomplishments. Should people of color refrain from participating all together?”

She later confirmed that she plans to skip the ceremony along with husband Will Smith and director Spike Lee.

Bristol Palin is clearly unafraid to share her viewpoint, but do you agree with her? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
