Conscious uncoupling is, let’s face is, hilarious.
But Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin do seem to have figured out their relationship in a way that other exes just haven’t. In a new interview in Glamour, Paltrow explains that she and her soon-to-be ex-husband are so close that he’s like her brother.

The couple’s drama-free take on co-parenting gets just as much press as some famous divorces, and Paltrow explains how they’ve made it work.
“We spend a lot of time together. He’s been away for two weeks [promoting his album]. Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school. So… we’re not living together, but he’s more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We’ll have a weekend all together; holidays, we’re together. We’re still very much a family, even though we don’t have a romantic relationship.”

She even wrote a few lyrics and sings backup (“a bit of harmony”) for Martin’s just-released Coldplay album A Head Full of Dreams, she reveals.
As far as her current relationship status with boyfriend and Glee producer Brad Falchuk, Paltrow is happy staying in the present. “I mean, I believe in marriage. But I’m not even divorced yet! So give me a minute,” she says.
