Blue Ivy makes music video and Super Bowl debut before halftime (VIDEO)

Beyoncé released a brand new song on Saturday afternoon and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, gives her debut performance in the music video.

In true Beyoncé fashion, the singer dropped a surprise single and music video, titled “Formation,” just a day before her Super Bowl halftime show appearance.

Blue is featured in the video standing as part of a trio of young girls as Bey sings the lyrics, “I like my baby hair, with baby hair and Afros.”

The video also showcases some powerful images of a sinking New Orleans police cruiser and a wall with graffiti that says “Stop shooting us,” as well as a scene of a black child in a hoodie dancing in front of police officers in riot gear putting their hands up.

Bey performed the song for the first time at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show on Sunday evening. Bey took to the field to “get in formation” with an entourage of female dancers and, no surprise, she slayed it.
