Teen Mom 2‘s Adam Lind has reportedly given up his custody battle

According to Radar Online, Teen Momstar Adam Lind is no longer seeking custody of his daughter after his personal and legal issues.

Lind and his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Houska have been embroiled in a custody battle for their two-year-old daughter Aubree. But as Radar reports, Lind has yet to file documents that would allow him to try for joint custody.

“It’s been quiet on [the legal] front,” a source close to Houska tells Radar, “He knows he has a losing case.”

Lind initially took his ex to court in March 2015 seeking joint custody and unsupervised visits with Aubree. As of September 2015, he was legally allowed to try the case again. Has he given up hope? Has he lost the money for legal fees? Has he just realized that he’s not fit to be a father? According to Radar‘s source, “He knows nothing will change. So he doesn’t bother.”

Since March, another ex — Jessica Nicole — attempted to file a restraining order against Lind for “choking and hitting her”. The order was denied due to insufficient evidence. Not exactly the kind of fatherly behavior that looks good in court.

The source continued to disregard any changes Lind says he’s made over the past few months: “As much as he’s told people he’s changed, he clearly has no control over his anger. It shows his true colors.” Stay tuned for an ongoing custody battle on the next season of Teen Mom 2.
