As expected, the Netflix series will surely make Full House fans feel at home — and super nostalgic. Even though everyone is now significantly older and the series will surround DJ struggling to raise her three boys on her own, there are many references to the original series (think catchphrases and cheesy hugs) that longtime fans will definitely enjoy. That said, here just a few, but also be sure to check out the trailer below, because it’s worth it.
1. The theme song
“Whatever happened to predictability?” Yep, I have chills.
2. Kimmy making herself at home
Kimmy hasn’t changed one bit and is still making herself at home. Actually, she even moves in with her daughter, Ramona.
3. The Danny, Joey & Jesse hug
The three still bring it in for those hugs, which always seem to be initiated by Danny. Yes, Uncle Joey and Uncle Jesse both go, “Aww, jeez.”

4. The ’90s references
Thanks to Kimmy being stuck in the ’90s, there are a ton of references. Younger viewers might not understand them, but older viewers definitely will appreciate them.
5. Kimmy and Stephanie’s banter
Kimmy and Steph always picked on each other and had quite the banter. Well, after all these years, nothing has changed.
6. The ridiculous dance moves
Yeah, there are still some cheesy dance moves happening. Here’s hoping Stephanie busts out some of her “Motown Philly” moves.
7. The catchphrases
“How rude!” “Have mercy!” “Cut. It. Out.” Oh, yeah, they are all represented.
Fuller House premieres Friday, Feb. 26, on Netflix.
