Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani just can’t get enough of each other. The couple apparently decided that a season apart would be too long, so Blake asked Gwen to come back as his advisor for the next season of The Voice.
Shelton, a staple on the show, says that it was an easy choice to make… and not just because Stefani is his girlfriend. He explained, “You start thinking who are the ultimate, like, artists out there that you can get to mentor your team… and it’s like, wait a minute, this is perfect! And I actually know her, it’ll be easy to call her!”

And he didn’t stop gushing once he started. He continued, “We know we collaborate well together as coaches so of course I would have her as my mentor, and she is so smart and talented.”
It’s no surprise to hear someone talk about how amazing and talented Stefani is, but it’s somehow sweeter when he says it, isn’t it?

The show’s executives agreed completely with Shelton’s thoughts and immediately jumped on the opportunity to bring Stefani back. And she couldn’t be more excited to work with the crew and Shelton, again.
When asked what is the best thing about working with Shelton, Stefani said, “He’s very perceptive about voices and he’s just really good at what he does. That’s why he’s a winner and it was really fun to be in there with him.”

It sounds like fans of the show won’t be lacking any of their onscreen flirting next season! Hopefully, it won’t distract them from picking a winning contestant.
The other coaches, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera, will all announce their mentors soon, but we do know that Miley Cyrus will definitely be making an appearance.
