Multiple outlets are reporting that The Hunger Games actress Lawrence will donate $2 million to the Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, her hometown.

Lawrence has visited sick kids at the hospital, most recently in December, when she paid a holiday visit.

News outlets report that her gift is specifically for the hospital’s children’s heart center. Photos on Twitter show Lawrence’s mom revealing a rendering of a new cardiac intensive care unit that will be named after Lawrence.

Reports that the hospital had received a sizable donation started circulating earlier, but the mystery donor behind the gift was revealed to be Lawrence at a press conference on Friday afternoon.

Lawrence was not present at the press conference, but reports say she appeared in a video that was played, urging the community to come together and match her $2 million gift with smaller donations to fight heart disease.

Social media lit up Friday afternoon with praise for Lawrence’s actions.

“god bless jennifer lawrence,” one user wrote. Another tweeted, “On behalf of a parent of a child with #CHD I applaud Jennifer Lawrence for her donation.”
