On Sunday, many of us celebrated Valentine’s Day with the people we love most in the world, and so, too, did Joey Feek, except the terminally ill singer knew that this would be her final Valentine’s Day.

And she spent it by doting on her toddler, Indiana.
Taking to Instagram, Joey shared an image that shows her lying in bed with her daughter on top of her, planting a kiss on her lips. The image was captioned with a simple “…happy Valentine’s Day mama.”
“Nothing sweeter than the love between a mother and child. This picture is precious and absolutely takes my breath away. God love her!!”, happybnhome commented.
Commenter kstuderus shared their thoughts on the picture, too, writing, “Praying for you and your wonderful family. Your faith and attitude gives [sic] so many inspiration! What a beautiful witness you have been of the Christian faith!”

Rory and Joey also posted a picture of themselves sharing a tender kiss while they enjoyed a Valentine’s meal together.
“…happy Valentine’s Day my love,” Rory captioned the image — and it’s left fans deeply moved.
“Such a beautiful moment and an inspiration to us all!”, wrote amyjs1425.
“Definition of true love,” katman1129 shared.
