Brandi Glanville refuses to move on from her past with Eddie Cibrian

by

It was only a matter of time before Brandi Glanville invited Dean Sheremet onto her Unfiltered podcast to talk about their exes, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, respectively. The fact that it only just happened earlier today is a bit shocking since the 2009 affair seems to be the only topic the reality star can talk about.

To his credit, Sheremet managed to take the high road during the interview, saying he thinks “I probably annoyed her and did some weird things.” But he says he has no ill will toward Rimes.

Glanville, on the other hand, threw around plenty of F-bombs, aired more dirty laundry about the four stars and generally made herself look like a bitter ex. One particularly charming quote from the podcast was her saying, “That f***er had to work to get my signature! And then I got nothing. I think it makes you work harder because you realize no one’s going to do it for you. Like, get it together.”

I understand heartbreak and I know what it feels like to be mad at your ex for making you look foolish. What I don’t understand is how Glanville doesn’t have anything better to talk about after seven years. She costarred in a hit Bravo series, wrote a book and has a podcast. Cibrian’s affair just can’t be the only interesting thing she has to talk about. Especially because it’s not interesting anymore.

During the episode, Glanville tried to joke about taking the low road, saying a lot of men and women sweep these kinds of things under the rug, but she decided to fight back. But Sheremet didn’t jump in to agree with her. “I just tried my best to be as accountable as possible without pointing any fingers,” he said. “And I am over it,” he added.

Which I think sums up how all of us feel about this whole mess — over it. Now we just have to figure out how to get Glanville on board and talk about something else.
