Demi Lovato loves to show off how much she loves her man, Wilmer Valderrama. Valentine’s Day was no exception, but this time her social media PDA was met with thousands of fans asking if she was engaged.

The singer posted on her Snapchat a picture of the couple holding hands with the caption “So in love” and various romantic emojis. Fans couldn’t help but notice her hand had some brand new bling on it and thought the couple might be announcing some big news.

Lovato was quick to take to her Instagram and clear up the rumors, saying it’s only a gift. She pointed out that the ring was on her right middle finger and not her left ring finger — a pretty clear sign that the bling is just a sign of love and not upcoming nuptials.
She’s not ruling it out either. She often tweets about how much she loves Valderrama and how grateful she is to have him in her life — she also cites him as one of the reasons she’s had such a successful recovery.

Earlier this month on The Ellen Degeneres Show while fielding questions about an engagement, Lovato said, “I don’t see a ring,” showing her hand to the audience. “I wouldn’t mind if I saw one! There’s a time for everything. We’ve been together this long, so I’m not going anywhere, and vice versa.”
