Adele takes less than perfect Grammys performance in stride

Not only does Adele have an impressive set of lungs on her, she’s also totally real and completely relatable, as shown by her recent reaction to her less than perfect Grammys performance on Monday night.

It’s unlike Adele to be off-key and have pitch problems but even the most talented stars sometimes have hiccups. And during her performance of massive hit “All I Ask” (which was co-written by Bruno Mars) she experienced some audio problems.

Fans reacted in surprise to the performance, with some suggesting it was down to nerves — as it was Adele’s first time back on the Grammy stage since her creative hiatus — but that wasn’t the issue.

Instead of making a big deal out of nothing, Adele took to Twitter to calmly explain what went down and her reaction to what happened has really made us love her even more, because she simply told fans “shit happens.”

Completely unfazed by the mess-up, Adele informed fans that perhaps the issue was “worth it” because she would be treating herself to some delicious fast food at In-N-Out Burger.

According to E! News, a spokesperson for CBS also released a statement on the singer’s performance. It read, “A CBS spokesperson confirmed there was a five-to-eight second technical issue with the broadcast, adding without elaboration that it was outside the network’s control.”

If you ever needed another reason to love Adele this is certainly it. And, regardless of the mess-up, we still enjoyed seeing her back on stage at the Grammys.
