Terminally ill Joey Feek‘s dreams came true this week as she spent the day with her daughter, Indiana, on her birthday — and it may be the last birthday of Indiana’s that Joey will see.

The toddler was celebrating her second birthday and the fact that Rory and Joey were able to be there for it was a dream come true.
The couple shared a photo of Joey sitting on her bed playing with the toddler, and the image is filled with joy. “…Some birthdays are more than just birthdays,” the caption reads, adding, “They’re [sic] dreams coming true and prayers being answered.”
Once again, fans have been moved by Joey’s battle with cancer and her fighting spirit, and the post received a warm reception.
“Happy Birthday precious Indiana! So, glad your prayers are being answered Joey! Love and blessings to you ALL!”, lknash12 gushed.

“I’m so happy God granted her both of her prayers… to see Christmas and Indy’s birthday…,” commenter paulasomething shared.
And pattiwestdick was also touched by the happiness captured in the post, writing, “You look great, and Indy is so happy playing with mommy. Special prayers always to you and your family. Keep fight [sic] Joey.”
During the past week, Joey has been creating as many new memories as possible, including sharing a romantic meal with Rory for Valentine’s Day, and being nominated for a Grammy award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. While they didn’t win, the couple were more than happy with just being recognized for their achievements.
