Brielle Biermann is a beautiful young girl, but, like her mother, Kim Zolciak, she has managed to attract countless critics who think it’s perfectly acceptable to comment on her appearance.

Biermann took to Twitter on Monday to share a selfie, which shows her sitting in the car wearing dark plum lipstick. She captioned the image with “no filter needed bc this lip color is [fire emoji] makeup by @marinarumppe.”

But rather than compliment Biermann (or say nothing at all if there’s nothing nice to say), haters have come out in full force, slamming her for wearing either “too much makeup” or looking much older than her years.

“@Briellebiermann everyone can see the lines of your real lips and where you drew them over to look bigger,” lindseyanne1212 wrote. “Give it a rest. You are pretty without having to try and look like your mom and Kylie Jenner.”
“Fame gets to people’s head. Just cuz they’re on a reality show. Ur pretty without all that makeup n over drawn lips just like ur mother. I don’t even put that much makeup [sic],” florsanchez4 wrote.
“Sweety, you have got waaay to much make up on, so not needed, you are a natural beauty, LESS IS MORE!!!”, oursweetemma commented.
While allisonpotter1 (and many other commenters) felt that Biermann’s new look made her appear much older than her years. She wrote, “Very pretty but not sure why an 18 year old would want to look like she’s 30? I’d love to look 18 again!”

Living your life in the public eye has some very obvious cons, but it’s important to remember that Biermann is a teenager, and like all teenagers, she is going to experiment (be it with makeup, looks or something else).
The only difference here is that there is constantly someone waiting for her to trip up so they can discuss her lifestyle and her appearance, when really, as women, we should be uplifting and encouraging one another. And if you can’t, well then, it’s best not to say anything, isn’t it?
