He can’t stop, won’t stop. Years after the whole “Imma let you finish…” fiasco, Kanye West is still out to get Taylor Swift. Dude! Enough already!
On Tuesday, without naming her by name, West dissed Swift on Twitter for her Album of the Year win at the Grammys. Clearly, the rapper is upset that Swift has now won the coveted award twice, and he’s yet to win it once. In a totally not subtle, passive-aggressive tweet on Tuesday, here’s what West had to say about Swift’s win.

Not exactly sure what West was trying to do here — garner pity? Get a petition going? But the only thing he’s managed to do is to look like a petulant child, jealous that his younger sibling got the bigger ice cream cone. Move on already.

For whatever reason, West has seemed to maintain this sort of strange obsession with Swift. Periodically, he cuts her down for no reason. In fact, he even called her a “bitch” on his new album and rapped about how he made her famous — a line he actually claims Swift “came up with.” (Swift’s reps vehemently deny this claim.)

No doubt, West is a talented man who makes good music. But perhaps part of the reason he’s never won Album of the Year is because of his insane ego and the fact that he doesn’t have an ounce of humility — and he rarely seems to be happy for other artists. That said, his beef with Swift is just ridiculous at this point. To put it bluntly, he looks like an idiot, while Swift keeps on making great music.

Just when West seems to be taking things down a notch and getting a bit more subdued, he goes and does something like this. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s sleep-deprived from his new baby boy, or maybe it’s the fact that he’s reportedly more than $50 million in debt, but clearly something is bothering him lately. Or maybe he, like the rest of us, is just obsessed with Taylor Swift.
