Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson reunite at the Brit Awards

After breaking up back in December, One Direction’s band members briefly reunited at the Brit Awards. However, only two of the band members were at the event.

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson were having the time of their lives at the awards ceremony. Harry Styles and Niall Horan missed out on the event, but that didn’t seem to faze the fans, or the artists for that matter.

This was their first public appearance since the last time they were together on The X-Factor a few months ago.

Fans were freaking out as they waited to find out the winner for Best British Artist Video. Twitter was blowing up with the hashtag #BRITVIDONEDITRECTION as the votes flowed in, and One Direction successfully took home the award for their “Drag Me Down” video.

Following their acceptance speech they also presented the award for best British Female Solo Artist to Adele.

One Direction was also nominated for Best British Group, which Coldplay ended up winning.

The One Direction boys are continuing to do their own thing for now.

Niall Horan is enjoying his time away from the band.

Harry Styles is currently working on a solo album that is set to be released later this year.

Tomlinson and Payne are still writing music together, and on Feb. 21 Tomlinson tweeted about how good it feels to be writing again.

Tomlinson has also been spending plenty of time with his newborn son Freddie Reign.

There’s no word on whether the band will end up getting back together, but One Direction fans are in it for the long haul and will never give up!
