Multiple celebs have voiced their support for Kesha after a judge recently denied her release from a Sony contract with Dr. Luke — the man who she alleges abused her sexually, physically and mentally.
Female celebs have praised Kesha publicly (Taylor Swift has even donated money for her legal bills), but perhaps none have been as involved as Lady Gaga, who took to Twitter to pay tribute to her fellow female singer in a big way on Wednesday — proving that it’s not just a public outpouring of love Gaga is willing to offer, but also her physical love.
Taking to Twitter, Gaga posted a sweet photo of herself and Kesha spending some quality time together.

Fans were thrilled with the image and were quick to share their thoughts, praising Gaga for not only inspiring them but also for empowering women.

A Lady Gaga fan page also uploaded a black-and-white Snapchat video of Gaga and Kesha cozying up, along with the #FreeKesha hashtag.

The complicated case seems far from over, but Kesha previously spoke out about the legal battle with a statement on Instagram. She wrote, “…Thank you is not enough but it is all I have. A million times over and forever thank you. The support I have received has left my face swollen from tears. I love you all so much….”
Dr. Luke has also taken to Twitter to deny all the allegations against him, insisting the “truth will prevail.”
