We’ve seen a lot of dresses on the red carpet that would qualify as interesting, but Heidi Klum‘s gown has inspired some pretty harsh criticism. Take a look.
Of all the people to be criticized for her choice in dresses, Heidi Klum seems like the last lady to pick such a polarizing gown. She is a style icon after all and the creator of Project Runway. But, given the fact that she has to wear so many dresses in public all the time, it makes sense that, sooner or later, she’d pick one that didn’t score well with the public. Tonight, her fashion luck seemed to run out.
Klum’s fluffy Marchesa dress is getting compared to lots of things, from “curtains” to a “bridesmaid disaster,” but these tweets are much worse.
Don’t worry, Ms. Klum, we still love you. Lots!

The color and puffy sleeves are spot on for this dress with a matronly vibe. So, it’s no surprise someone compared it to one of the Golden Girls.

Or even Dumbo’s mother.
Okay, maybe that last one was a bit of a stretch, but the color palette is the same, right?
