Taylor Swift made a beautiful maid of honor in her best friend’s wedding last weekend. Now, the couple’s wedding video is giving us inside insight into what went down during the ceremony.
Swift gave an emotional maid of honor speech at Britany Maack and Benjamin LaManna’s wedding reception.
“He would chase her and pursue her through middle school and junior high and high school, and their paths would diverge and then come back together,” Swift said of LaManna during her touching speech. “It would be so magically unpredictable, but at the same time, so incredibly fated, just like the best love stories are.”

Swift and Maack have been friends since they were born. Swift has also known LaManna since she was in kindergarten.

“My favorite accomplishment of my entire life is that everything in my life has changed except for me and Britany,” said Swift. “She was my partner in crime at Brownies’ sleep-away camp and she was my date to the Grammys, and little did either of us know that Prince Charming for Britney would be the kid that sat next to be in class with the bowl cut and a Lego lunch box.”
The “Wildest Dreams” singer is also shown doing some serious dancing in the wedding video. Plus, if we’re any good at reading lips, it looks like the pop star even jumped on stage to sing her hit single “Shake It Off.”

According to a source, the Grammy winner was “a great maid of honor and made every effort to help Britany with whatever she needed. They were so happy and Taylor looked like she was in awe of how beautiful Britany looked.”
