Reunited and it feels so… wait, what? Everyone is friends again onVanderpump Rules (save for all of the drama surrounding Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix)? Are my eyes deceiving me? Based on Monday’s episode, it sure seems like Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder are on their way to best friends forever-ville. As much as you might like to believe this is a joke, it most definitely is not.

After many episodes (and one year of not being friends) of Katie refusing to meet or speak with Stassi, she finally sat down with her former BFF. Stassi, Kristen Doute and Rachael O’Brien were chilling in Palm Springs when, out of the blue, Katie and Scheana Marie showed up.
Katie thought it best to catch Stassi off-guard so she couldn’t prepare a speech and then maybe the two could have somewhat of a real talk. In between award-winning tears and gasps of apologies on Stassi’s part, Katie told her flat out that just because they are having a discussion, doesn’t mean they will be good friends anytime soon or become super close in the future.
For once, they had quite the civilized conversation. Yes, they acted like mature adults without any yelling or screaming. Thankfully, Katie let Stassi know exactly where she stands and how she felt during their time as friends. Not only did Katie tell Stassi that not everything is always about her, but that never again will she put her life on hold for her. Furthermore, Katie said she would be a “damn fool” to go through any of that again.

In the end, Stassi apologized to Katie and even admitted she was wrong. For now, Katie and Stassi have found some common ground, but Katie also assured her that this doesn’t mean everything is back to normal. There will be other conversations and they will slowly build up to being friends once again.
All of this seems too good to be true, doesn’t it? Heck, even Katie officially invited Stassi to her engagement party. Seriously? No drama whatsoever? You two are just going to move forward like adults? What is happening to Pump Rules? I guess Lisa Vanderpump’s life lessons are finally rubbing off on her SUR employees.
Obviously, Stassi is on cloud nine about it all, but who knows if this will even last. Stassi had better keep playing nice or she will lose Katie for good.
