Kim and Kyle Richards have a long and complicated history on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so the last thing anybody expected was to see the ladies getting along following Kim’s surprise return. If there’s hope for them, there may be hope for new enemies Erika Jayne and Kathryn Edwards!
Viewers have been eagerly awaiting the return of Kim Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as the show is just not the same without her. Although a few viewers believe that she needs to be more invested in her recovery before even returning on a part-time basis, most were eager to see how she would get on with the other Housewives after last season’s drama.
Last night, however, the first order of business was a “private” conversation (or as private as one can get in front of a film crew and millions of eventual viewers) with her sister.

Typically, when Kim and Kyle Richards get together for a chat, they end up bickering nonstop. Thus, nobody really believed Kyle when she told Lisa Vanderpump that she and her sister were “inching [their] way towards fixing things.” They inched along quite nicely during last night’s episode, when Kyle spoke honestly of her concerns regarding Kim’s sobriety.
According to Kyle, the quality of their relationship hinges on Kim remaining sober. She feels bad saying this, however, as it makes it sound like everything is Kim’s fault. Amazingly enough, Kyle is willing to take some of the blame.

The most poignant moment from last night’s conversation was definitely when Kim admitted she wasn’t always “easy to love.” It was also very sad when Kyle said she felt as if Kim didn’t love her. Fortunately, Kim quickly dispelled this notion, providing the “I love you” Kyle so desperately needed to hear.

Several viewers have expressed their support for Kim and Kyle’s reconciliation, although many wish they would focus on repairing their relationship away from the cameras. Last night, many took to Twitter to voice their approval — a rare feat for the Richards sisters!
It’s great to see Kim and Kyle Richards getting along, but their reconciliation carries a great deal of uneasiness. Can the sisters truly support each other going forward, or will their relationship fall apart once again? Kim’s right about one thing: There is no hope for the sisters getting along if the other Housewives get involved.
