This time, it’s Marla Maples. And if her name doesn’t ring any bells, don’t worry — she’s been out of the limelight for some time. To get fans up to speed before the season premieres on March 21, here’s everything you need to know about Maples.
1. She was married to Donald Trump
This is probably what Maples is best known for: being married to businessman and presidential candidate Trump for six years. They got married in 1993, separated in 1997 and divorced in 1999. They have one child together, a daughter, Tiffany Ariana Trump.
2. She made a name for herself as an actress
Maples started acting in the early 1980s, and appeared in films like Maximum Overdrive and Executive Decision. She also made a number of guest appearances on TV, including Spin City in 1997, The Nanny in 1998 and most recently Disney’s Liv and Maddie in 2014.
3. She’s a musician, too
In 2013, Maples released an album of meditative music titled The Endless. One track on the album, “House of Love,” won a Hollywood Music in Media award for Best New Age/Ambient Song.
