Beyoncé blew the roof off a school gala with a Whitney Houston cover (VIDEO)

When Beyoncé helps out at school, she doesn’t just volunteer with the PTA.

The world’s coolest mom performed at the Center for Early Education’s 75th Anniversary Gala, and she brought it with a cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Think back to the last time you tried to hit these high notes at karaoke. Now watch Beyoncé nail it, thanks to some members of the crowd who weren’t too awkward to pull out their phones and record the performance.

She even ended the ballad with a sweet chorus inviting the children in the crowd to join in.

She’s covered the song once before at a memorial concert for Paul Walker when she combined it with Halo. Revisit that (sad) masterpiece in full below.

E! Online reports that she also performed her own hits “XO” and “Crazy in Love.”

It’s unconfirmed whether 4-year-old Blue Ivy actually attends The Center for Early Education, a private school in Los Angeles for children in preschool through sixth grade.

The socioeconomically and culturally diverse independent school for children with an inclusive learning environment sounds exactly like the place cool parents like Jay-Z and Beyoncé would send their children, although it’s unlike the extremely locked-down Beyoncé to allow the press to pick up a story that would leak any kind of information about her daughter. Either way, a mom did a good deed.
