Perhaps you’ve heard about a recent Twitter feud between Chloë Grace Moretz and Kim Kardashian, sparked by Kardashian’s latest nude selfie.
It all started when Moretz retweeted Bette Midler, who had humorously commented on the naked bathroom selfie Kardashian tweeted earlier in the week.
“If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera,” Midler wrote, racking up nearly 100,000 retweets.
But after sharing Midler’s words, Moretz called Kardashian out personally, directing her next few tweets directly at her.
“@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than… just our bodies,” she wrote over two tweets in reply to Kardashian’s nude shot.

Some who were following the conversation were quick to call Moretz out, saying she was slut-shaming Kardashian, causing her to take to Twitter once again to defend herself.
“There’s a huge difference in respecting the platform that you’re given as a celebrity and ‘slut shaming’ something I never have done and… would never do,” she wrote.

But Kardashian was next to jump into the feud, and she clearly wasn’t happy about Moretz’s remarks.
“let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo,” Kardashian tweeted.

Whether or not Moretz’s intent was to slut-shame Kardashian, it was Bella Thorne who brought the voice of reason to the feud, reminding us all that regardless of whether we approve of Kardashian’s actions, no one has the right to tell her what to do with her own body.
