Eight months after announcing their divorce, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck haven’t taken any steps to make it official.

According to E! News, the couple has yet to file any divorce papers, and they’re still living together as a family. They’ve been spotted out together numerous times — usually with their three kids — and sources say they’re happy and in a good place.
“They will continue to live in the house together and have no plans to change that arrangement,” one source told E! News recently. “They are in a really good place right now. A lot of the dust has settled and they have become accustomed to their new life, which is separate but together in a lot of ways. They continue to make the family their first priority and they have always been on the same page about that.”
Despite rumors that their split came after Affleck cheated on Garner with the family nanny, Garner said in an interview with Vanity Fair that their relationship was over long before any of that news broke.
“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” Garner said at the time. “She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce.”

An insider told E! that that interview cleared the air between Garner and Affleck.
“Now that the Vanity Fair article is out, neither of them feel the need to talk about the past or the divorce,” the source said. “They feel like everything has been answered and they just want to move forward. There is a lot of love between them. They don’t know exactly what it’s going to look like, but for now what they are doing is working for the family.”
The source continued, “Jennifer has been working the last few weeks and they are trading off with the kids. Whoever isn’t working is spending the majority of time with them. When they have time off, they are doing things as a family together. Ben is about to embark on a major press tour and will be traveling while Jen holds down the fort. They have a good system in place. Everyone is happy right now.”
