According to Us Weekly, Palin, who has been campaigning with presidential candidate Donald Trump, was forced to cancel a rally in Florida so she could fly back to Alaska after her husband, Todd Palin, was in a snowmobile accident Sunday.

NBC News reports that Todd is currently hospitalized in intensive care. Todd, who works as a commercial fisherman, has been married to Sarah since 1988. They share five children together, including Bristol Palin.

Trump’s campaign released a statement Monday about Sarah’s absence on the campaign trail, saying, “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband, and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”

Sarah was set to appear on Trump’s behalf on Monday in The Villages, Florida. The Trump campaign announced to supporters that the rally was canceled minutes before it was set to begin, Us Weekly reports.

“The event scheduled for Governor Sarah Palin to take place today in The Villages, Florida, at 12:00 PM, has been canceled,” Palin’s reps said in a statement. “Governor Palin wishes her best to Mr. Trump in the upcoming primaries.”

Palin has been campaigning for Trump since she endorsed him for president in January.

“I am greatly honored to receive Sarah’s endorsement,” Trump said at the time. “She is a friend, and a high-quality person whom I have great respect for. I am proud to have her support.”
