A close family member says all of Kody Brown’s wives hate their lives, and that the unhappiness we see on Sister Wives is just the tip of the iceberg.
Christine Brown’s aunt, Kristyn Decker, says the women may be happy with their religious beliefs, but they sure are not happy with their personal lives.

Decker — the daughter of a former leader of the polygamous Latter Day Saints breakaway sect Apostolic United Brethren — fled the system, and she says Christine should too.
“I don’t believe that she’s happy,” Decker told Radar Online. “I call it ‘miserable happiness.’ That truly describes those that were in polygamist marriages and those that left,” she said. “I think they are just miserable and the show started showing it.”
And not only does Decker believe Christine is miserable, but that Meri, Robyn and Janelle must hate their lives, too.

“There is a lack of connection between the women,” she said. “They don’t know where to stand when they’re talking about their relationship with the other women. They don’t get the quality time they want with their husband. Neither do the children. The spousal connection isn’t there. They are happy because they believe they are serving God, or their God. But it is miserable happiness.
“I think the Browns are precious people. They are just misled like I was,” she continued. “They were born and raised with it. They are not representing the majority of polygamy.”
This sad state of affairs may be responsible for the silence of both the Browns and TLC about whether or not Sister Wives will be renewed or canceled. No one will confirm a premiere date, or if filming has even begun.
