Adele is the latest celebrity to be targeted by hackers and the star is said to be angry and upset that someone has posted private pictures online.

According to The Sun on Sunday, the intimate family pictures include snaps from Adele’s childhood, photographs of her young son Angelo and even a pregnancy scan. One of the pictures is a selfie of Adele in a kitchen when she was pregnant and another shows her newborn son swaddled in blankets.
It’s believed that the hackers accessed the private pics through Adele’s partner Simon Konecki’s email account. The images were posted on a privately run Facebook group of the 27-year-old singer’s “mega-fans” then began to circulate online as they were shared by fans. The singer was alerted to the hack by a member of the group, who got in touch with her management team.
“I was appalled and upset for Adele when I saw the pictures,” the fan told The Sun on Sunday. “They are really private and should not be passed around. I think it is disgusting that her so-called fans were sending them around and I thought it should be stopped.”
A member of Adele’s security team contacted the fan to inspect the images and check where they were being used. Management then took down her social media accounts to stop them being compromised.

“It is exactly this sort of thing that Adele does not like about fame,” said a source. “She may be emotional on stage and share her feelings with fans, but she believes there should be limits. She was angry and upset when her management told her about the pictures and would have told them to get on it straight away.”
Adele’s management haven’t commented about the security breach and it’s unclear whether it has been reported to police.
What is clear is that the damage has already been done. No matter how big a celebrity someone is they have the same right to a private life as everybody else.
Adele has spoken in the past about how she is frightened of fame.
“My career’s not my life, it’s my hobby,” she told Rolling Stone last year. “People think I hate being famous. And I don’t. I’m really frightened of it. I think it’s really toxic, and I think it’s really easy to be dragged into it.”
She revealed that Amy Winehouse’s tragic deterioration under intense media scrutiny had a huge effect on her.
“Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I’m a bit frightened,” she said. “We were all very entertained by her being a mess. I was f**king sad about it, but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I’d look at it. If we hadn’t looked, then they’d have stopped taking her picture. That level of attention is really frightening, especially if you don’t live around all that showbiz stuff.”
Let’s hope the latest unwanted attention, and huge violation of privacy, doesn’t make Adele withdraw from the public eye again. We like having her back.
