The new Bachelorette is about to break a whole bunch of hearts, but according to her ex of two years, Chad Rookstool, she’s already got one under her belt in her hometown. Rookstool spilled the dirt on their relationship in a revealing interview to InTouch Weekly that, well, doesn’t look great for our new Bachelorette.

According to Rookstool, Fletcher went on The Bachelor looking for fame. (Twenty seasons in, no one has learned that The Bachelor will not get you famous.) “JoJo thought the show would help branch out her career,” said Rookstool. “She said it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, she kept her options open with Rookstool. “As soon as she got home, we started hanging out every day and being intimate again,” he classily reveals. “We were sneaking around the whole time The Bachelor was airing because she wasn’t allowed to be seen with me.”
This bozo continues: “When she got home, she kept telling me she loved me and that we should have stayed together and fought through our issues. She said we would’ve been married by now, and I agreed with her.” Sounds like their marriage would have been a delight!

The question remains: Did she actually have feelings for Bachelor Ben? Her ex thinks she “just got sucked up in the show rather than actually trying to have legit feelings.” Even if she’s looking more for fame than a wedding ring, all I want as a viewer is someone who’s going to get “sucked up” in the show. Bring it on, JoJo.
