The Bachelor‘s Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell jetted off to Warsaw, Indiana, over Easter weekend to spend their first holiday as a public couple.
While some reports placed Bushnell’s immediate family at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, for the weekend, the Bushnell clan also made the journey to Higgins’ home state. The former Bachelor posted a photo with the caption, “Date night for Easter with both the Bushnells and Higgins.”

Higgins also posted a photo on Saturday with his mother and Bushnell. He captioned the pic, “My two girls.” (Let’s hope Bushnell never saw the since-deleted Facebook video of Higgins’ mother saying she preferred JoJo Fletcher.)
Bushnell posted a very similar photo on Instagram posing with Higgins and his mom as well as a photo with Higgins’ 90-year-old grandpa.

The pair even made time during their visit to Higgins’ hometown to pay it forward and attend an event for the Baker Youth Club of Warsaw. The youth development agency strives to provide quality supervision for young people in the community.
“Wow! What a great night for the kids of BYC! Special thanks to Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell for giving their time and to all that either helped, sponsored, donated and/or attended BYC Reality,” the organization shared on Instagram with a photo of the couple. “It was a huge night! Thank you!”
Bushnell plans to move from her home in Marina del Rey, California, to Denver, Colorado, where Higgins currently resides. There’s no word yet as to when the couple will tie the knot.
