There have been plenty of adjectives used to describe The Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer. Dramatic? Duh. Narcissistic? The word’s been tossed around. A tiny bit insane? Yup. Heck, even CBS’ Supergirl gave Singer a shoutout recently with the line, “I haven’t seen eyes that crazy since I had fondue with Ramona Singer.”
But one word that you’d never expect to be associated with Singer is peacemaker. However, Singer is claiming that is the exact role we will see her playing in the upcoming RHONY season.

“[This season] you’re going to see a lighter Ramona, a more fun Ramona,” she told Us Weekly at a recent party she hosted for the RHONY Season 8 premiere. “I have more patience for people and I actually become like the peacemaker! Me! I’m actually giving LuAnn [de Lesseps] advice on how to be nice — to people! She’s like, ‘I can’t believe I’m listening to you!'”
Cards on the table, we can’t really believe it either.
Considering how much she stirred the pot last season, it’s just a lot for her to ask of loyal RHONY fans to even imagine her as the Dalai Lama of the show. Add to that the rumors that Singer was reveling in the fact that she was thrown out of a holiday party last December for drunken bad behavior — a source said, “She was standing [outside] on the corner cackling about ruining the party,” — and, well, we don’t blame anyone for wanting to call shenanigans on the whole peacemaker claim.
After her dramatic past, plus her high jinx at the Season 7 reunion, will Singer really be able to change her whole vibe and sing a new tune in Season 8? Only time will tell — and we can’t wait.
