Carole Radziwill is the one beacon of sane hope on The Real Housewives of New York. No matter what drama the ladies brew up (whether during vacation or in the city) Radziwill always seems to be above it all. Not in a boring way, but in an “I’m an actual adult” way. Earlier today she gave another example of why she’s the classiest Housewife in New York.
She sat down to an interview with Us Weekly to talk about all the drama that’s already happening on the season, particularly Jules Wainstein’s weight and Bethenny Frankel’s opinion of her weight. And like an adult, she quickly avoided giving an opinion about another woman’s weight.

She said, “You know, I let her talk about it when she felt comfortable talking about it, and she’s pretty open about her weight issues, and it’s a very complicated issue and when you’re navigating new friendships.”
It’s important to say that Wainstein is a skinny woman, and if they were closer friends, it would be a completely different story. Girlfriends should feel comfortable stepping in if there’s a problem. But these women barely know each other. So Radziwill keeping her opinions to herself is the most decent and kind thing to do.

Radziwill admitted that she may not have done everything the right way when it comes to Wainstein’s weight. She said, “I can’t say it was a smooth road, talking about all that. It was a bumpy road, but we go down the road and talk about it.”
And that’s why I nominate her as the best Housewife in New York. She’s not afraid of supporting people through the hard stuff and she very rarely talks behind people’s backs. Especially if it’s someone she just met.

I just want Frankel to take notes from Radziwill. Because she is really funny and a great addition to the show, she’s just not always great at lifting up her friends, let alone other women.
