It’s been a rough few months for Kesha, whose life has come under intense public scrutiny, but it’s wonderful to see that she’s not letting her legal battles squash her spirit and has continued to pursue her dreams and do what she loves. The performance was powerful and telling, with lyrics like “No, no no no I won’t apologize for the fire in my eyes / Let me show you my, my true colors, it ain’t no rainbow.”
The musical performance marked Kesha’s first public appearance since her February court case, and she was very excited about it. Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo of herself on stage looking out onto the crowd, and captioned the image with a special thank you to Zedd.
