Sometimes you quit a job, but you still care about the gossip. That’s how Cheryl Burke must feel about Dancing with the Stars, because she dished a whole lot of dirt about her former employers and co-workers on the podcast. The juiciest? That pretty much all the dance pros have dated at one point.

Burke and her former partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy have shared a moment, she admitted. “I think we all dated each other at one point,” said Burke. “All of us dancers, we’ve known each other. [Maksim and I have] known each other since I was 12 and he was like maybe 15. I think he is three years older than me, so ya know, things happen.”
For inquiring fans, “things” means kissing. Burke elaborated that she and Chmerkovskiy never dated, but “he was a good kisser. Maks is a good kisser.” Of course, that’s all in the past now that he’s engaged to yet another dance pro, Peta Murgatroyd.

Burke had nothing but good things to say about her overall experience on the show that she spent 18(!) seasons on, and this latest reveal is just a cherry on top of how much fun she must have had. “I mean, how many dancers get to come here and do what they love to do? And get paid for it?” she said. “I had an amazing time meeting so many people. I still have so many great friends from the show that I’ve met, and I think it was an amazing platform to be able to transition and do something different.”
