It’s getting harder every day to count all the times that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been in and out of jail, and her latest legal drama with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith and his girlfriend, Jessica Henry, could mean she’ll be headed back behind bars again.

Evans was arrested on Aug. 20, 2015, for allegedly assaulting Henry, and the pair will be hashing out their differences in the courtroom. But Griffith also got involved when he gave his version of events, in which he claimed that he witnessed Evans throw the glass at Henry. However, a source has since told Radar Online that Griffith’s story is untrue — and now there’s proof.
“On the video that the cops have, Nathan is clearly heard telling them that he didn’t see anything because he was loading things into the truck,” a source who has seen the video told the outlet.

But could Griffith’s lies work in Evans’ favor?
We’re not so sure, just because Griffith didn’t see the incident happen doesn’t mean it didn’t happen at all, although, it could be enough to cast some doubt about the authenticity of Henry’s claims if her boyfriend was willing to allegedly lie to corroborate her story.
We will get our answer soon enough, as Evans heads to court on Friday, April 22. She has opted to face a six-person jury and, if convicted, she could face up to 30 days in jail.
It’s unfortunate that this incident happened at all, and Evans really needed to avoid legal trouble as she is already facing a bitter custody battle for her son, Jace, so the last thing she needs is to fight for custody over Kaiser, too. But that may be exactly what Griffith wants.
According to a second source, Evans believes the drama between Henry and herself may be a ploy for Griffith and Henry to gain custody of Kaiser.
“Jenelle thinks that Nathan is just using this to try and manipulate her in their custody case,” the source told Radar Online.
