Kanye West just can’t let his feud with Taylor Swift go

The only person who still cares about the 2009 VMAs feud-sparking fiasco between Kanye West and Taylor Swift is Kanye West.

West decided to do his best impression of himself at a wedding this weekend. The crowd may have erupted into laughter, but we’re honestly not laughing.

West interrupted fellow guest and DuJour magazine founder Jason Binn as he was giving his best wishes to the newlyweds. He grabbed the mic and dropped those infamous words.

“I’mma let you finish,” West said. “Dave and Isabela had one of the best weddings of all time.”

The groom posted a video of the moment on his Instagram page.

The West-Swift feud seemed to finally be over back in 2015 when the pair hugged it out at that year’s Grammys. Case closed.

However, when West released his song “Famous” and rapped about how he “made that bitch famous” in early 2016, the file was reopened and the feud became messier than ever before.

West later said he did not diss Swift and that he had spoken to her in advance about the lyric, adding that she “thought it was funny and gave her blessings.”

However, Swift proved she was not happy about the diss at the 2016 Grammy Awards. The “Shake It Off” singer called out people who “undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame” while accepting her award for Album of the Year.

“I think the world is so bored with the saga,” Swift said during her most recent interview with Vogue. “I don”t want to add anything to it, because then there’s just more.”

She’s right. We’re all so over it. Now, Yeezus just needs to make like Elsa and let it go.
