Queen Elizabeth has basically threatened another war with the Colonies after receiving a trash-talking video from the Obamas.
The threat was made in that most subtle way that only the Brits can pull off, of course, but it’s definitely there if you read between the lines. Thanks, Obama!
Just kidding, it’s totally a setup! But the fact that the queen is playing along is pretty rad. Here’s what’s going on.

Our favorite hot ginge, Prince Harry, is bringing the Invictus Games stateside to Orlando next week. Michelle Obama, along with her hubby (you know, the leader of the free world?) and three soldiers with amazing facial expressions tweeted some good old-fashioned smack talk across the pond.
Turns out Harry was having a nice chat with his sweet grandma about his favorite project when he received the tweet — and her reaction is classic.

That sounds like a challenge there, Liz. Remember what happened the last time the Brits got in a scuffle with the Yanks — it didn’t turn out so well for you.
Seriously, though, there is so much to love about this entire narrative. It’s refreshing to see a level of irreverence and humor from leaders in stressful positions. It’s awesome that a woman of the queen’s vintage has taken so well to the most modern of ways and has really embraced social media. It’s great to see that Harry has found a wonderful cause that clearly means the world to him and that he can proudly stand behind, and it’s heartwarming that his gran is obviously immensely proud of his work.
Even if it does cause another revolution.
